Edward Peill - Producer

Edward entered the film and TV industry in 1996 after having worked in a variety of sectors including wine making in France, international shipping in Cyprus, commodities trading in Vancouver, and crewing aboard private yachts and tall ships in the Caribbean and South Pacific. He spent five years as the head of production for Topsail Entertainment and oversaw their slate of dramas, documentaries, lifestyle, and comedy series including the Trailer Park Boys and the documentary series Tall Ship Chronicles.

Since founding Tell Tale Productions in 2003, Edward has produced more than 150 hours of award winning documentaries and unscripted series for Canadian, American, and International broadcasters. He’s received awards from the Banff World Media Festival, Atlantic Film Festival, Houston Film Festival, International EMMA, New York Festival, Accolade Global Film Competition, and the One World Award.

Erin Oakes

Erin Oakes - Producer

Erin started her career in film and television at the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative where she was the Supervising Producer for more than thirty short films ranging from experimental to dramatic, including the Genie nominated FAIRE CALLUM MACLEOD.

Since joining Tell Tale, Erin has conceived of and produced: FREE REINS, a one-hour documentary (CBC, 2017), GROWING SENSE, 10 x 30min documentary (AMI, 2018), RADICAL AGE, a feature documentary currently in post production (VisionTV), THE POWER OF PLAY, a one-hour documentary currently in post production (CBC, The Nature of Things) and DRAG KIDS, a one-hour documentary currently in production (CBC, POV). In addition to production, Erin spent ten years as a Programmer for the Atlantic Film Festival Association (AFFA), specializing in documentary programming.

Anne Fleming

Ann Flemming - Business Affairs

Ann Flemming has been working in the Nova Scotia Film and Television Industry for over 20 years. Ann was Vice President, Business Affairs at Ocean Entertainment for 13 years. She worked on all aspects of production for all Ocean productions, including To Catch A Killer; The Candy Show; French Food At Home; Chef Michael Smith series and brand – Chef Abroad; Chef At Home; Chef At Large; and many other documentaries.

Ann was previously Production Executive at Salter Street Films, in charge of such highly acclaimed, award-winning productions as Made In Canada, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Talking to Americans and Emily of New Moon.

Ann started in the industry in a Business Affairs at Charles Bishop Productions.

John Feron

John Feron - Post Production Manager

John is a veteran of the TV business, wearing many hats along the way in production and post. John takes great pride in delivering content that is perfect. He has helped streamline the various workflows required to deliver A-Level content to national and international broadcasters. It’s this kind of exacting and detailed perspective that makes John the final word on all projects here at Tell Tale Productions. John has worked in production and post-production for more than 30 years in Halifax and Vancouver. Now working as Post Production Manager, John takes great pride in delivering content as technically perfect as possible.

Sean Doyle Field Producer for Tell Tale productions

Sean Doyle – Field Producer

Sean started working on Spirit Talker on season two as a coordinator and then became the field producer on season three. His education consists of: The Canadian Film Centre’s Producer’s Lab, Rotterdam Producers Lab and the National Screen Institute’s Features First Program. Sean has worked in a variety format’s including animation, drama comedy, horror and documentary. He has produced content that has been broadcast in Canada, United States and Europe. Sean’s skills as a producer have been greatly enhanced by working with companies such as CTV, CBC, Trailer Park Productions, Salter Street Films and IFC Canada. He has been part of the Tell Tale’s team since 2020.

Denise Vickers

Denise Vickers - Accountant

Denise is a Senior Accountant with over 20 years’ experience working in various industries, most currently the film industry.

Known for leading teams, managing transitions, and developing/ implementing strategic solutions.

A leader with the proven ability to drive growth, enhance efficiencies, and deliver results in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
