Algae: The Future Of Fuel (1 x 30)

Algae: The Future of Fuel is a half hour documentary that reveals the ground breaking research taking place to develop a renewable and sustainable fuel supply from an unlikely source: algae.

The film explores the work being done by scientists at the National Research Council in Halifax, Nova Scotia who explain why producing fuel from algae could be a commercially viable option since the crude oil we currently use was created by algae a few million years ago.

We'll also meet veggie fuel evangelist Jesse Watson who currently runs his vehicle on recycled cooking oil and renewable energy entrepreneur Gerry Glazier who is experimenting with using algae to convert carbon dioxide from the industrial sources into fuel.
